ErgoUnload is our solution to facilitate semi-automatic bulk unloading and increase the unloading capacity of the trailer's loose load in front of a telescope. The system is designed to be operated by just one person. Bulk unloading is accomplished by pulling loose-loaded items onto the flaps or directly onto the incline belt at once.
Traditionally, the unloading of vehicles at parcel centers is an intensive manual process that is not only time consuming, but also often ergonomically challenging. In conventional unloading processes, parcels are placed one by one onto the telescopic conveyor, typically requiring lifting and twisting movements. This process is critical to a parcel hub's efficiency and capacity. With the growing shortage of personnel, increased attention to workplace ergonomics, and limited space, implementing new technologies is becoming more essential.
ErgoUnload greatly improves the manual process while ensuring fast and gentle parcel handling. The innovation significantly increases throughput, optimizes space utilization (for greenfield projects) and reduces operating costs. At the same time, it effectively reduces the physical demands on the operator. Items rarely need to be lifted onto the flaps or belt. This allows the operator to ergonomically unload multiple parcels simultaneously and automatically transfer them to the telescopic conveyor without performing lifting or repetitive twisting motions.
Our RUBUS product, specific to the US, provides you with a unique solution for unloading parcels fully automatically and at high speed. The system can be configured for bulk or stream flow, with a maximum throughput of 25,000 items per hour. You can control and dynamically adjust this rate at a central control station to match available system capacity. How does the cost-efficient and flexible solution work? An inexpensive stationary belt kit is installed on the floor of a trailer or container to be unloaded.
While RUBUS draws itself along the belt to the end of the trailer or container, it unloads parcels and packages. When RUBUS is no longer needed for unloading, the conveyor belt can simply be stowed away. With RUBUS doing the work, safety is radically improved. That’s because operators are no longer needed in the unloading area and can monitor the process at a control panel outside the container.
Our unique belt-to-belt transfer method offers fast, low-cost, and seamless unloading, achieving throughput up to 20 times higher than manual processes. It is configurable for both bulk and stream flow, and easily adjustable to different locations. This method ensures faster trailer turnaround, reducing dock time, and requires a smaller physical facility footprint with fewer inbound dock doors.
With our telescopic conveyors, we set new standards in strength, longevity, and total cost of ownership. With both belted and gravity models as well as a wide variety of options, the telescopic conveyors are a perfect solution for heavy-duty loading and unloading You can also adapt the telescopic conveyor to your individual requirements.
