In our second blog, we addressed the themes driving this year’s Elevate: resiliency, efficiency to meet customer demand and modernization to conquer complexities in the supply chain.
Elevate is your opportunity to get to know this depth and breadth of Körber technology, ask the experts, discuss with peers, and learn more from our customers’ experiences.
Reimagining your warehouse with new technologies
There are many technologies to make your operations more efficient, automation is one of them. For example, installing an automated storage facility to make better use of your vertical space or using a layer picker to assemble pallets. What could your warehouse look like when you incorporate automation technologies? What impact does it have on other parts of the operation? How long will your investment last? The session “K.Sight CLASS – Reimagining your warehouse using 3D Simulation” on 9th March at 9am CST will address these questions and also how to use CLASS to design a greenfield site.
Körber also designs, delivers, and services automated systems. – Join our session “Introduction to Körber Supply Chain Automation” on March 9 at 10 am CST to learn more about our materials handling equipment and real-world use cases and service projects. Apart from in-depth sessions on different automation solutions, you also have the opportunity to join roundtable discussions as well as Q&A sessions. Have a look at our automation agenda here.
Keep up with robotics
If anything has made more supply chain professionals consider the use of robotics in their warehouse or distribution center, it’s the effects of the pandemic. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the current state of the robotics market on the 9th at 10:10 am. Apart from many more talks on this topic, you’ll hear from our experts at 11 am how Körber is keeping up with those developments and what we do to offer you the newest AMR technology for your warehouse. Get to know the entire robotics agenda here.
Safety and productivity with voice
Developments have also been underway in the sphere of voice-directed work. In a time, when fewer surfaces touched mean less risk of getting ill, our voice-centered sessions introduce you not only to the work safety implications of voice technology but also efficiency and productivity improvements. This includes, again, contributions by Körber experts, Q&A sessions as well as customers sharing their experiences with voice technology. Have a look at the agenda of our sessions on voice, vision and mobility sessions here.
Discover the scope of supply chain technologies
The above are just a few examples of the many sessions we have planned for Elevate between 8th and 12th March. Even if you can’t attend a session, our new, fully digital format means they’ll all be available on-demand for 90 days post-event.
